Hoe kan ik instellingen wijzigen in een PaymentSense terminal?

Paymentsense kan zelf instellingen aan de automaat wijzigen indien je belt (of indien klant belt) naar hun support desk.

 

(wij (NEDFOX ONLY) kunnen het paymentsense support team bellen 0044 800 044 59 35))


Welke instellingen kunnen zij bijvoorbeeld toekennen aan hun pin automaten ?

 

Eigenlijk alle, maar de meest gebruikte functies die paymentsense kan instellen die je nodig kan hebben bij(of na) installatie:

 

- aan/uitzetten printen van bonnen uit de PDQ / pin automaat.

- toekennen TID's.

Perform a TMS call:

Press the MENU button twice.

Press F3 for supervisor menu

Password: 123456 ( Alternative password: 01483 )

Press Enter

then

Press Menu

Press F4 for CALL TMS

(after TMS call it will print a receipt with TID / Terminal ID which is needed in POS terminal setup in RV).

RESET PINPAD:

Hold the CLEAR button + the button with   .,'  (punctuation button).

almost instantly/direct gaat nu automaat herstarten.

REPRINT RECEIPT FROM CARD MACHINE ITSELF:

Press Menu after transaction, choose option 6 to reprint receipt.

 

NOTE: With contactless payment a receipt is never printed !

SWITCHING BETWEEN STANDALONE AND INTEGRATED MODE:

Standalone mode:

Standalone mode allows the cashier to typ in the amount a customer needs to pay on the cardmachine itself, instead of having the amount from the till go to the card-machine automatically.

When would you use this ? You want to use this if the connection between the till and card machine is not working. (i.e. RetailVista POS gives a(n error) message about not being able to connect to the card machine when starting a transaction.

 

To get the card machine in standalone mode:

On the card machine:

-Press F4

-Typ in the password: 123456 + enter ( Alternative password: 01483 )

-Now press the option for standalone mode = on (I believe F4)

-Press Cancel until you are back in the main screen.

-The terminal will now restart  itself. After that you can operate the terminal manually/standalone.

 

Integrated mode:

With integrated mode = ON, RetailVista is able to send the amount due immediately to the card machine.

 

If/When the issue with PaymentSense has been resolved and the card machine can be used again to work in integrated mode.

On the card machine:

-Press F4

-Typ in the password: 123456 + enter ( Alternative password: 01483 )

-Now press the option for standalone mode = on (I believe F1)

-Press Cancel until you are back in the main screen.

-The terminal will now restart  itself. After that you can operate the terminal integrated mode.

 

After changing from/to stand-alone or integrated mode you might need to close RetailVista and start RetailVista again.
