Add discount to items in an article list.

This manual describes how to add discounts to products in a product list. The discount can be applied per individual line or to multiple lines at once. 

Adding discounts per line

 Start -> Product Lists -> Product List Maintenance

In the search screen, you can look up the relevant product list. In this case, I have looked up product list 1012.

On the "Rules" tab, select the specific row and double-click to open it.

 Using the "Edit" icon, you can enter the discount.

Using the "Save" symbol, you can save the change. It is possible to modify the grid (the gear symbol in the top right corner) to display the column with the discount percentage. This way, you have an overview of the discount percentages in the product list.

Adding discounts to multiple lines at once

NOTE: This is only possible for discount percentages, not for discount amounts.

Start -> Product Lists -> Product List Maintenance

 In the search screen, you can look up the relevant product list. In this case, I have looked up product list 1012.

Check the lines on which you want to apply the discount. If you want to apply the discount to the entire product list, you do not need to check any boxes. Click on "Update discounts" on the left side of the screen.

Now this screen appears:

Selection: You choose whether you want to apply the discount percentage to the selected lines or to all lines in the product list.
Discount percentage: Enter the discount percentage.

Transfer existing discounts: check if the existing discount percentage of the selected lines or all lines should be overridden.

Click on "Execute".

 You can now see that the discount percentages have been changed. Via Export tasks on the left side, you can choose what you want to do with this product list.

For example, by clicking on "To discounts", you can create a product discount for these product lines and apply it.
