Adding Products to the Online Webshop

Method 1. One at a time

Find your product in Product Maintenance, on the left of the screen you will see "To Webshop".

When you click "To Webshop", another box will appear where again you can choose which webshop classification you wish for this product to live in.

Method 2. Using RetailVista Mobile

It is possible and recommended for large numbers of items to be done in a more practical way. Using the HHT scanner and RetailVista Mobile, we can scan products to a list for bulk sending to webshop, and Webshop Classification.

Open RetailVista Mobile on the HHT, and check and click, if you have the option, "Product Lists".

Click "Product lists" and select either "New", or search for a previous list.

If this is your first list, click "New" and give the list a number and a description. Click "Add Row" and start scanning each different product items one at a time. It may be easier to focus on one department at a time this way such as Plants. That way, it is easy to send each list to the correct webshop classification.

When you have created your list, go to the backoffice and find your list.

Product lists -> Product list maintenance. Search for your list or choose from the available on screen.

Double Click your list or, if you put an accurate enough description in the search form, your list will be on screen (This works very much like Product Maintenance searching).

General Tab provides basic information on your list.

"Rows Tab" lets you view and edit/add rows.

Note again on the left we have "To Webshop". This will start the very simple and short process of sending all the products in any given list to the webshop.

When you click on "To Webshop", the following box will appear.Here we have several choices to ensure this process is as simple as possible:

• IF using the retail Product Categories then tick "Use productcategory webshop classification"
• IF using different classifications online and instore, choose the "Webshop Classification" here.

You can also choose which webshop to send items to (as you can manage multiple webshops with RetailVista/Garden Connect).

You can keep your lists tidy by ticking "Delete Rows After Import".

Click "Add to Webshop".
