However, it is possible to specify a desired delivery date. This will ultimately end up in the field DTM+2

Please note: It is uncertain whether a supplier will also read this field. It is not a mandatory field and with EDI, it is always a question of whether a supplier reads every line of the message or ignores such rules.

The EDI standard also provides for an earliest delivery date and latest delivery date. However, these fields do not (yet) exist in RetailVista. The question is also to what extent these fields will really add value to communication with the supplier.
