Barcodes can be removed from a product, provided they have not been created by an organization. To do this, open the barcode for the product and choose to delete it.
It is possible that the following error message (image 1) appears when deleting the desired barcode.
(This should eventually become a normal error message)
This means that the barcode is still in use for one or more discounts. This can also be an old
discount that has not been active for a long time. In this case, the barcode must also be removed.
This field must be cleared, as deleting a discount is not possible due to possible history.
If the barcode is no longer in use anywhere, it can be deleted.
