Occasionally a message appears on the Chip & PIN machine like the one below:
This message could mean that your Chip & PIN isn't working anymore, and needs minor maintenance.
The first thing you could try to do is the following on RetailVista POS ( i.e. 'the till').:
- Log in to RetailVista POS.
- Select the 'File' menu on the left-top.
- Choose 'PaymentSense EFT Configuration'.
- Choose 'Print financial counters'.
After this Chip & PIN should work again. If Chip & PIN still isn't working contact PaymentSense support via their support desk.
