Close a sale order with prepayment

When a sale order has been cancelled and the prepayment request has not been processed through the till or backoffice, then you can easily close the sale order by "Close saleorders" via:

Start -> Sale orders

But this is not possible when a prepayment request of that sale order has already been processed through the till or backoffice.

Now a red line pops up: It is not allowed set the salesorder status to final, because the prepayment balance is negative.

When we look up this sale order we see that the prepayment already has been paid at the till.

Close this screen and click on the "Edit" symbol on the left side of your screen.

Click on "Reopen saleorder".

Select "Delete open reservations if available" to delete the open reservations of the order.

Now you can cancel the sale order, by selecting the box after "Cancelled" and click on the "Save" symbol on the left side of your screen.

You can refund the amount by making a return voucher or credit note.
