Creating an account

When starting Nuvio, a consumer must create an account once. After a consumer has created a Nuvio account, multiple stores can be added under that single account. Creating an account can be done by entering an email address and a password, but it is also possible to use an existing Google or Apple account. The recommended way to create a Nuvio account is by scanning a Nuvio QR code in the store or via other channels such as websites, newspapers, etc. As part of that URL, the store is automatically added to the Nuvio account.

Via Google account

By clicking on “Sign in with Google”, an existing Google account is used. An overview of known Google accounts will then be shown, as illustrated in the screenshot below.

After selecting the Google account to use, a screen appears asking for permission to sign in to Nuvio using the selected Google account.

Via email account

By choosing “New user” on the login screen, a new account can be created in Nuvio. After clicking “New user”, the screen shown below appears. Here, an email address can be entered along with a corresponding password.

There are some requirements for the password. Currently, a minimum of 8 characters is required, including at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 special character. If the password does not meet these requirements, it will be rejected, as shown in the screenshot below.
