In order to use the scanner for the first time, the scan button must be held down for approximately 12 to 15 seconds until a loud melody is heard. For the initial use of the scanner, it needs to be fully charged first. After that, the scanner should work fully and be able to scan all necessary barcodes. If not, please continue reading.

Out of the box, the MSC100-CRD scans the required barcodes:

After scanning a barcode, the enter key is automatically applied. The scanner is also already paired with the provided base station by default. If this is not the case, the scanner can easily be paired with a base station by placing the scanner on the base station and pressing the 'M' button (red) A melody will sound to indicate successful pairing.
