Article summary

Webshop orders are communicating via the Shopserver through EDI and this will result in a Saleorder in RetailVista.

Sales order

In the backoffice you will find these sales orders with description "Webshop order".

In the search screen you can also give a selection on "Webshop" on tab "Origin" to search for these orders more easily.

When we open a specific sales order, on tab "Message" you will find the EDI Message.

On tab "Advanced" you will find the "Inbound Message Number".

In this case this is number 13.

Inbound messages

We can find this message -> Start -> EDI -> Inbound messages

If you want a more specific search, you can click on "Apply filters" on the right corner.

When we apply filters, you can for example fill in the message number or supplier and use some other filters, see image below.

 Click on "Search".

When we click on this message, you find a green line above.

On tab "Message" you will find the same message as in the sales order on tab "Message".

On tab "Receive log" you find the log. In this example all rows are set to "Ok".Trouble shooting

Not all Inbound Messages will result in a sales order. This is the case when the message is rejected. This can happen for example when a webshop order has not been filled in correctly by the customer, or products have not been correctly sent to the webshop via RV, but manually created on the Garden Connect CMS and sold. In the "Inbound Messages" you can look up the cause and solve the problem.

Make sure "rejected only" is set to "Yes" or "All" in the search menu "Apply filters".

When you open the message and on tab "Receive log" select "Failed" or "Warning" to find out which rows are causing problems.

For example: The postal code has been entered incorrectly. Click on the "Edit" Symbol and change the postal code on tab "Message".

Please note: The position of the new data is very important to solve the issue succesfully. If you need help please contact NedFox Support.

On tab "General" you need to uncheck the "Rejected" box. Click on the "Save" symbol.

Now the EDI message will be processed again and resulting in a sale order. When this is still not the case, you look into the message again in "Inbound Message" and try again.

When you don't know which item to solve or on what position to make the changes, please contact NedFox Support.
