Export of products to Excel within RetailVista

This document describes how to export products within RetailVista.

It is possible to export product data to an Excel file. The purpose of this can be, for example, to move the products from one cash group or classification to another. It can also be used to bulk edit the selling price.

The product export function is located (see also below) under Start > Products > Product export.

The options shown below can be used to specify the criteria for exporting the products.

After specifying the criteria, choose "Download Excel file" to start exporting the products that meet the specified criteria to Excel.

The downloaded file will be placed on the PC where you are performing the action at that time.

Now you can edit the file if necessary and upload it back to Exchange for further processing.
