This takes into account the 'Accounting interval' setting. This is set to 'Day' by default. This means that when generating, it prevents multiple accountings from the same day. It calculates the last accounting and then creates accountings for each day up to yesterday. This also ensures that if generating were to be started more than once a day, a partial accounting for the current day is never created.

The date specified in the generation screen is valid until yesterday.

If a user still wants to create an accounting on the same day, the task scheduler cannot assist with that. The interval setting must be changed to 'Batch'. This will generate all accountings up to the specified end date or the system date in the task scheduler. It is technically possible to create multiple accountings for the same day if generating multiple times on the same day.

There is also a second setting called 'Automatically generate accountings'. If this is active, the accountings are created through the task scheduler. By turning off this setting, a task schedule can still exist, but it will not be executed. The reason for this setting is to allow for one task schedule and make exceptions for certain locations.
