This URL is easier to remember and provides a directly personalized appearance.

Another advantage is that it is no longer necessary to provide the company number when logging in. From now on, only a username and password are required.

The URL is composed of [Company.UrlTag].[instance].retailvista.net.

Here is an example:

Instead of www.retailvista.net/demo and then logging in to company 5 'de groene weide'

It is now: groeneweide.demo.retailvista.net without the need for a company number

How do I set this up?

To set this up, go to company maintenance and then to the 'advanced' tab, where you can enter a Url tag for the company:

Then you can log in via [urltag].[instance].retailvista.net.

For test environments, this URL is [urltag].[instance].test.retailvista.net.

If this is not working correctly, it may be that something is not set up correctly technically. This is described in QA911.
