A template can be created in Word and then loaded into RetailVista. Any logos and fixed texts will be printed as specified in the template, and the merge fields will be filled with the product information from RetailVista.

A sample template can be downloaded from the NedFox support website. (Files -> retailvista).

In RetailVista, the template can be saved in RetailVista via Administration -> Mailmerge templates. Choose "New" and provide a description, then select the template to be used via the browse button. Then, search for an product in product maintenance for which a price tag needs to be printed. On the left side of the screen, choose "Export products to document" and select the previously created template. Optionally, a free text and a promotional price can be specified, with the normal selling price already suggested by default.

Of course, it is also possible to create custom templates. In Word, go to Insert -> Quick parts -> Field.

Refer to QA275 for the available fields.

In the list, search for the field name "MergeField" and enter one of the available names as the field name.
