How do I configure RetailVista for a Spaaza integration?

This document describes the one-time actions that need to take place within RetailVista to achieve a successful integration with Spaaza. Spaaza is a loyalty platform.

In order to use Spaaza, the basic loyalty license must be present, along with the Spaaza connector. Please check if these licenses are available.

Next, create a new loyalty card connector. Below is an example. The URL, username, password, and chainId will be provided by Spaaza. The ChainId is a data point that RetailVista cannot handle by default, so it is stored in the advanced settings. The information below is just an example.

Furthermore, in the settings section, Point Of Sale, the external discount provider must be set. This should be set to the 'Spaaza' provider created above.

The Spaaza integration currently only works within RetailVista POS. For this, version 21.11.8000 or higher must be used. Please check if this is the case and update the cash register if necessary.

Manually synchronize the cash register and restart the cash register application. From this point on, the Spaaza integration will be active. When starting RetailVista POS, an initial connection check to Spaaza will be performed. If no warnings occur during startup, the Spaaza integration appears to be functioning correctly.
