How do I install RetailVista Mobile on a scanner that does not have Playstore integration?

<span class="fr-marker" data-id="0" data-type="true" style="display: none; line-height: 0;"></span><span class="fr-marker" data-id="0" data-type="false" style="display: none; line-height: 0;"></span>This document describes the installation and updates of RetailVista Mobile on scanners that do not have Playstore integration available.

On scanners that have Google Playstore integration, updating is possible through the regular update facilities of all installed applications on a scanner. This works through the Playstore module.

Many scanners do not have Playstore integration because making it available seems to be a quite costly affair. For these types of scanners, the application can be installed 'manually'. This works through the Internet browser on the scanner.

By going to:

http://install.nedfox.net/retailvistamobile/rvmobile.apk

the latest application (APK) version will be installed. The file rvmobile.apk always contains the latest version of our software.

This link can be used for both the initial installation and later updates.
