How do I set up RetailVista for use with a PriceCrawler integration?

Starting from the fall 2022 update, RetailVista ERP supports price crawlers. Initially, an integration has been developed with PriceTweakers, but in the future, it will be easy to connect other crawlers as well.

In order to communicate with a price crawler, at least 2 licenses are required: the crawler license and an interface license to a crawler provider. It is technically possible to exchange data with multiple crawler providers. However, currently only one provider is supported at a time.

In the info screen of RetailVista, all licenses for the active location are visible, and it can be checked if a crawler license is active, along with at least one crawler interface.

In the 'Providers' section, the credentials of the chosen crawler provider must be provided. There is a separate QA available for the configuration of PriceTweakers. Once this provider is created, it must be selected as the default provider in the settings.

In the settings of RetailVista, there is a new section called 'Crawler'.

Select the crawler to be used here. In this example it is 'PriceTweakers'. It is also possible to specify a resending date here. During the next communication with the price crawler, all mutations from that date onwards will be resent.
