How does Bumbal integration work in RetailVista?

RetailVista has a connection with Bumbal from the delivery administration. Delivery orders can be automatically registered with Bumbal, where Bumbal essentially takes over the route/ride planning. The delivery orders are registered by the task scheduler, which can be executed a maximum of once per hour. Whether a delivery order is registered depends on the setting 'To delivery provider' for the type of delivery orders. Each delivery order is linked to a type of delivery order, which determines whether that order is registered with Bumbal.

Once an order is registered with Bumbal, the process progress is in the hands of Bumbal. From there, an email will be sent to the consumer requesting them to determine a delivery time. The task scheduler of RetailVista reads the mutated 'activities' from Bumbal a maximum of once per hour and determines whether an activity has been scheduled. If that is the case, the corresponding delivery order in RetailVista will also be scheduled. In essence, Bumbal takes over the planning dashboard.

In the transport types table, it can be indicated that a delivery order is automatically created from reservations of a certain type of transport, including the type of delivery order. It then only depends on the setting for the type of delivery order whether that delivery order is automatically forwarded to Bumbal.

If a delivery order is linked to a reservation, the planning date will also be placed when the consumer reads the planning for the reservation. This feature allows a picking list to be printed for a reservation only when it has been scheduled by the consumer.
