A frequently asked question is how data from, for example, a PIM ends up in a RetailVista environment. Currently, this is only possible through a WebConnect session prior to the actual import. WebConnect is a file exchange system of RetailVista for downloading files from a WebConnect server. In consultation with NedFox, an FTP account can be created to place data on a WebConnect server. On the roadmap, there is a desire to be able to choose FTP instead of WebConnect for downloading files. In that case, it is sufficient for a PIM to export files to an FTP server so that RetailVista can download and process them.
