# Introduction

With the RetailVista Touch Designer, a layout for a POS touchscreen can be designed. Each new version of a layout is automatically saved as a new layout. In the POS terminal categories, a touchscreen layout can be selected for all cash registers within that category. Because all previous layouts remain available, it is very easy to revert to a previous layout after making changes, in case the new layout is not yet satisfactory.

The RetailVista Touch Designer is a Windows-based application and, for this reason, can only be installed on Windows PCs.
