The general structure of this format is described in QA610. In that QA, header and detail lines are described, each with their own column numbers. This document establishes a link between the RetailVista inventory transaction journal and the column numbers of FMUTA.

    A new header line is started in the FMUTA file for each inventory transaction journal and process type, so the line number is always 0.

    *1 - The fiscal year and period can be automatically calculated by RetailVista based on the journal date. It takes into account the settings in RetailVista for the duration of a period. It can be a month or 4 weeks. When exporting the journal, it can be indicated in the export screen whether the year and period should be automatically calculated, or a manual year and period can be entered in that screen.
