The current minimum system requirements for the latest RetailVista Touch Designer software are Windows 11 (any version) with the amount of RAM recommended by Microsoft for that version of Windows. If you are using an older version of our Touch Designer software on an outdated OS, it is likely to continue functioning as long as nothing changes in the software or hardware. However, there may come a time when outdated Touch Designer software no longer works correctly with a recent RetailVista update. In that case, an update of the Touch Designer software will be necessary, and the outdated OS may not be compatible with the new version of the Touch Designer software.
We follow Microsoft Windows’ support and end-of-life policies. Once a Windows version is no longer actively supported by Microsoft, we will move from standard support to paid support for issues related to the end-of-life Windows version. You will, of course, be asked for consent before any paid support is provided. Additionally, for end-of-life versions, we cannot guarantee that every identified problem can be resolved.
