If all goes well, the scanner can be found in localservices under the scanners tab after a system restart.
NetO32 installation and configuration
Unpack and install the NetO32_v2.10.zip file. In the program, choose 'File' -> Open -> NetO32.nsf
This is the configuration file, all settings are already correct, except for the COM port which may differ. Adjust the COM port via Tools -> Options. Save the configuration file via file -> save as -> c:\opticon\NetO32.nsf
Copy the files NetO32.exe and Neto.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Opticon\NetO32 to c:\opticon 5.
Scanning, importing, and removing data from the scanner 5.
1. Scan data:
Using the 'Scan labels' option, barcodes can be scanned and quantities can be entered. Navigate through the menu using Q1 and Q2.
5.2 Import data:
Once scanning is complete, the scanner itself must be set to transmit data mode. Use Q1 and Q2 to select 'Transmit data' and press ENT.
Right-click on the localservices icon and select Import -> Opticon CSV.
The NetO32 program will start and automatically begin importing the data, then close itself. The progress will be displayed in the 'Scanner status' screen of localservices.
The scanner file (myfile.txt) will now be placed in the import folder (C:\ProgramData\NedFox\LocalServices\Temp) and automatically sent to RetailVista by localservices.
In RetailVista, the file can be placed in a product list by going to Start -> Product lists. Choose product list maintenance and open an existing product list or create a new one.
On the left side of the screen, select 'Import scanner data'. The imported file should be visible here. Select it and choose save. The product list is now filled with the scanned products.
5.3 Delete data:
After importing the data, it must be removed from the Opticon to avoid reading the same data again later. To do this, go to 'Delete DBase' on the Opticon and press ENT, then confirm again with ENT.
