When a purchase is given as a gift, it is sometimes desired to include a receipt. This way, the recipient can also return the gift. However, it is not desired to display prices on that receipt. When reprinting a receipt, it is possible to choose to reprint a receipt without prices.
Of course, when actually returning the item, the price will eventually appear in RetailVista POS. Only then must the recipient have really decided to return the item. Until that moment, the price will not be known.
