Promotion vouchers

You can make a promotional voucher, for example, to scan a (folder) voucher in the till, so that the discount is applied based on the relevant barcode. This can be a one-time voucher or a voucher that can be used several times. First you need to make a promotion, see guide Promotions - set up

Promotion voucher types 

-> Administration -> Promotion voucher types

Click on the green "+" symbol to add a new promotion voucher type.

Code: Fill in a promotion voucher type code which does not exist
Description: Description
Voucher type: Select OneTimeOnly if you want the promotion voucher to be used once. Select MultipleTimes if you want the promotion voucher to be used more than 1 time.
Promotion: Select the promotion
Restrict to Single Sale row: Check this box if the voucher is only applicable to a single sale row

-> Start -> Promotions -> Promotion vouchers

Click on the green "+" symbol to add a new promotion voucher type.

Barcode: Fill in the barcode
Promotion voucher type: Select the promotion voucher type.

This promotion voucher type can be applied to quantity price breaks, mixedmatches, customer discounts and loyalty card savings discounts.

The discount is applied by scanning the barcode of the promotional voucher in the till.

When the mixedmatch has been finished, you can wait for 30 minutes or force the till to synchronize, so the promotion voucher is immediately applicable.
