Quote to sale order

This article describes the procedures of how to transfer quotations to a salesorder.

Start -> Quotes -> Quote to Sale Order

The following screen will appear. Fill in the quote number or look up and select the correct quote number. After you have filled in the quote number the other fields will be filled in automatically, so you can check if this is the correct quote you want to transfer in to a salesorder.

Fill in the Saleorder classification. Sale order classes can be set via ->RetailVista -> Administration -> Saleorder classes

Click on "Execute". Now a green line appears with the sale order number, which is created from this quote.

When we look up this quote via Start -> Quotes -> Quote Maintenance, you will see the status of the quote has been changed in to "Closed". After "Attached saleorders" you can find the sale order. When you click on the saleorder number, you will go directly to the sale order.

When we look up this sale order, you will find the quote number after "Quotes". When you click on the quote number, you will go directly to the quote.

You will also see the Saleorder class, that you have selected in the beginning of this process. The description is filled in automatically with the description of the quote.
