Retrieving EDI messages

Retrieving EDI messages is done automatically if EDI is set up at the supplier.

EDI messages

-> Start -> EDI -> Incoming messages

Here you can view the incoming messages. The "Type" column indicates the type of message.

You can search for "Packing slip" messages using the search filter.

Click on "Search" for the result.

By double-clicking on the line, you can view the corresponding EDI message.

Posting EDI packing slips

-> Start Received articles -> Posting EDI packing slips

In this example, we will post message number 3444. Double-click on the line to open it.

Create a new document by clicking on the green "+" symbol next to "Document".

Click on the "Save" icon and note down this document number. This number is required for warehouse counts. Click on the "Save" icon. The inventory is now updated with the data from the EDI packing slip.

This document now needs to be further processed. Refer to the manual "Processing receipts without warehouse count" or "Processing receipts with warehouse count" to complete the process. If you want to process a warehouse count, you can consult the Warehouse Count manual.
