Related products: Product Bundles Set of 'X' products for price 'Y'
Within RetailVista you can create a set of products. The set of products then is sold for a pre-setup price.
Step 1:
Create a 'new' product, for instance 'BBQ starter set'.
Fill in the set price.
Select the correct VAT.
Step 2:
- Select tab 'related products'.
Modify the record and choose 'related products type', before you are able to add products.
NoRelatedProducts (regular product, only to be used then this is a normal product) - SaleOnRelatedProducts (Sell on related products, book stock off from related products (plus book of on this product itself 'BBQ starter set')
- ReplaceWithRelatedProducts (Sell on related products, book stock off from related products (plus DO NOT book of on this product itself 'BBQ starter set')
- AddRelatedProducts (not used anymore)
- Article/productComposision (not used anymore)
Save the record.
Now, once you have selected option B or C (Step 2), you can add the products in the set of products (in this example 'BBQ starter set')
Step 3:
Add products to the set of products:
In the example below 5 products are added.
In the example above you have selected "SaleOnRelatedProducts" or "ReplaceWithRelatedProducts" (in Step 2).
The implications of each of those options is (in combination with the example above), when a 'BBQ starter set' is sold 1 time:
SaleOnRelatedProducts - stock change:
- BBQ starter set: stock -1
- Weber Style Mitt: stock -1
- Weber Steakhouse Charcoal - 3kg: stock -1
- Weber Prem Exprs Charcoal - 3kg: stock -1
- 57cm One-Touch Premium - Black: stock -1
- Apple Chunks 5lb: stock -1
ReplaceWithRelatedProducts - stock change:
- BBQ starter set: stock no change
- Weber Style Mitt: stock -1
- Weber Steakhouse Charcoal - 3kg: stock -1
- Weber Prem Exprs Charcoal - 3kg: stock -1
- 57cm One-Touch Premium - Black: stock -1
- Apple Chunks 5lb: stock -1
Note: In all related products, or set of products, the discount given is divided over all products within the set of products)
