It is possible to use RetailVista POS in instruction mode.
Instruction mode allows, for example, a new RetailVista user to practice with the POS without the actions having any effect on revenue.
To use the POS in instruction mode, a shortcut must be created on the POS computer.
Make a copy of the existing RetailVista POS shortcut on the desktop and then open the properties.
In the Shortcut tab, the option “Target” contains a file path that must be replaced.
Delete the existing file path and enter the following path:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NedFox\RetailVista POS\NedFox.RetailVistaPos.UI.Touch.exe" /instructionmode
It is also recommended to rename the shortcut on the desktop to clearly indicate that it is for instruction mode.
