After logging into RetailVista ERP, users will see the main screen with various tiles representing different modules. Each tile corresponds to a licensed module, while smaller tiles represent modules without licenses. The top left corner features a toolbar with icons for data maintenance. Some icons may appear light gray and non-functional if they are not supported on the active screen. The start screen of RetailVista does not allow adding, modifying, or deleting data. Additionally, certain data may have permissions applied, restricting users from making changes. In such cases, the corresponding icon will be light gray and display a tooltip explaining why it is unavailable. The toolbar icons serve different functions related to data management.

These icons can also be operated with the PgUp and PgDn keys. These two icons are intended to jump to the next or previous record in the search results screen. In the search results screen, you can sort on almost every column, determining the sorting and thus the next or previous data.
This icon can also be operated with the key combination Ctrl+F. This icon brings back the search screen. Initially, it goes back to the search results. By using the shortcut (Ctrl+F) again, all search criteria are cleared, and a new search query can be entered.
This icon can also be operated with the F2 key. By using this shortcut, the focus is placed in the first field of the screen that can be entered. This is useful when it is not clear whether the focus is in a data field of the screen question, and typing the value uploaded. After typing the value, the Enter key is pressed, and the search is started.
This icon can also be operated with the Esc key. By using this shortcut, the search screen is exited, and the original screen is opened again. |
