If no counts are coming in to RetailVista, the following actions can be performed by yourself to resolve the most simple malfunctions. If the solutions in this document do not work, you can report this to NedFox Support so that we can further investigate this malfunction.

If no counts are coming in, first check if the counter is ticking when you walk through the entrance of the store (this can be recognized by a round reflector and a green/gray box. (image A.) Sometimes something is blocking the counter from 'seeing' customers entering or the power to that box is off. (plug out of the socket) In that case, check the power supply.

If it is ticking, you can resolve most malfunctions by restarting the customer counter interface. To do this, you need to locate the dark gray box (usually located on top of a ceiling or in a meter cupboard. There is a sticker from NedFox on this box. (if in doubt, please contact NedFox) (images B and C)

This box has a power supply, a network connector, and a signal input from the counter (ticker).

Only the power supply needs to be interrupted for about 10 seconds. To do this, unplug the plug from the dark gray box (see image B) where it says Power Supply.

Leave the other plugs in place. When the plug is removed, there should be no more light at the network connection. Wait 10 seconds and plug the black plug back into the box.If everything went well, the lights should now be on/flashing again.

Next, you can check in RetailVista if the counts are coming in again. This may take a while, but should be visible again within 5 minutes. Updating all counts also takes some time.

If no counts are coming in yet, despite waiting for 5 minutes, you should still contact NedFox for further analysis of the problem.
