Previously, the price of the 'Main' set product was always set to 0 and the specified set price was immediately divided among the underlying components. Starting from the fall 2020 version of RetailVista, there has been a modification that allows the price to remain on the main product. It is still divided among the underlying products, but it also remains on the main product. Additionally, it is now only possible to change the price on the main product: changing prices of components is no longer possible. This change has made it much easier to modify a set price. Previously, each individual line had to be adjusted slightly, but now it is sufficient to modify the price of the main set product.
The default sales order layouts of RetailVista have been adjusted and now correctly display set prices. The 'main' set product is listed with a total price on the sales order, while the components are listed for 0 euros. In customized sales order layouts for customers, there is a high chance that due to this adjustment, both the main product and the components will have a price listed. However, the total amount at the bottom of the layouts is correct, but if you were to add them up, you would get double the amount. So it is merely a display issue.
There are 2 fields that need to be adjusted on the sales order line layout, depending on whether they are used in the layout. These fields are the gross and net amount fields. The data binding for these fields should be:
RowPceNetPrice RowTotalNetPrice
In addition to these 2 fields, it is also necessary to adjust the following stored procedures, UNLESS RetailVista is not yet the Spring 2021 release. The stored procedures have already been adjusted in the Spring 2021 release:
9001.sql 0093.sql 0105.sql
