Which URL is used for checking the VAT number? (VIES check)

The URL for the VIES check is http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/checkVatService.wsdl

This will need to be configured in the firewall if outgoing data traffic is limited to a number of URLs. This URL is used both from the cash registers (RetailVista POS) and from the RetailVista back office itself.
