RetailVista can handle multiple locations under one company and therefore needs to know which location the stock should be applied to.

The choice for a location can be made in the product search screen, in the 'General' tab. By default, the location is not suggested in the product search screen. This can be adjusted through the settings of RetailVista, as indicated below.

Adjusting this setting will automatically suggest the active location in the product search screen, after which searching for products with a certain stock will function correctly.

Starting from the February 2015 release of RetailVista, the location will be suggested by default in the product search screen and that suggestion can be disabled through the above settings if desired.
