Bonus savings

With the option of bonus saving, you can set an additional savings balance for a selection of products within a specified period. 

For example, to earn double points on the products from 19/09/2022 to 28/09/2022, follow these steps:

In the cash register group "Garden plants," proceed as follows:

1. Go to Start -> Promotions -> Bonus saving.

2. Choose to add and fill in the fields as desired.

3. Description: your own description.

Loyalty card type: the type of loyalty card to which the promotion applies.

Promotion: a promotion with a start and end date.

From: If no promotion is used, specific start and end dates can be specified.

To: Extra percentage: the additional percentage to be saved, 100% gives double points, 200% gives triple points, etc.

4. Choose to save.

Now the basic settings for bonus saving have been set. For the above bonus saving example, the result should be as follows:

To specify which products the previously created bonus saving action applies to, open the created bonus saving rule and go to the "Rules" tab.

To follow the above example, you would specify the cash register group "Garden plants" in the cash register group with an additional percentage of 100%.

You can also set it up so that bonus savings only apply to a specific product by specifying a specific product in the product field. But you can also easily use a combination of filters, for example, products from brand X that are only in a specific cash register group.

You can also add multiple rules. For example, if you want to double savings on the entire assortment, you will need to add a rule for each cash register group with an additional percentage of 100%.

This is a bit of work, but when the bonus savings promotion expires, it can be easily reused next time by updating the start and end dates.

Below is an example of how the bonus savings are displayed on the receipt.

Without bonus savings, 105 points are earned on the transaction below (1 point / €1)

With bonus savings set at 100%, double savings are earned on the same transaction.

The extra savings percentage is also mentioned separately on the receipt.
