Deleting a product

It is possible to mark products as deleted in RetailVista.
The purpose of this is to prevent these products from being used, which is not always the case with expired products depending on the settings.

Deleting products can be done via an product list.
Select the products in the product list and choose "Delete products":


Reversing the deletion works in the same way.
Simply uncheck the red-outlined option:

Once an product is marked as deleted, it can no longer be processed at the POS, and the following message will be displayed (unknown product!):

If an product has been incorrectly marked as deleted, this can also be easily undone.
Ensure that the system is set to search for deleted products (as shown below) and locate the product in product Maintenance.

Then, under the "General" tab, uncheck the option "Deleted":
