It is possible to create and modify purchase data yourself. For the products maintained by GRS, the default values will be applied again. If this is not desirable, source protection can be used.

Start -> Exchange -> Exchange tasks -> Source protection

Here, a new source protection can be created.

The supplier can be specified and optionally a cash register group and/or a product category as well.

On the 'Product fields' tab, you can specify which fields should be blocked for mutations from Exchange.

On the 'Purchase fields' tab, you can specify which fields should be blocked for mutations from Exchange.

Note! Source protection is applied when the products are placed in Exchange. Source protection is not applied to the products already in Exchange.
