Please note that data protection is applied when products are placed in Exchange through an import from an Excel file or headquarters. This includes, for example, the selling price, purchase price, or description that can be overwritten. To create a data protection, go to Exchange > Data Protection and there you can create a new data protection as shown below.

On the "Filters" tab, a description must be provided and under filters, a data (such as the supplier) must be specified or a combination of data. Then, on the "Product fields" and "Purchase fields" tabs, you can select the fields on which the data protection should be applied, as shown below.

Use the arrow icons to move the article fields from the left (all product fields) to the right (protected product fields) and save the data once you are done.
The same principle applies to the "Purchase fields" tab, as shown below.
