The simplest way to process product returns is by scanning the return barcode printed on the original receipt.
This ensures the product is returned for the exact amount it was originally sold for.
If the original receipt is not available and you still want to return products, you can do so by entering the products with a negative quantity.
Scan the product and then change the quantity to -1 or any other desired negative quantity.
Note that when using this method, products that were purchased with a discount will be returned at the normal sales price.
For example, a product purchased during a 50% discount period will, outside or after that discount period, be returned at the normal sales price.
It is also possible to look up the original receipt in RetailVista and reprint it with the return barcode.
