Modules

RetailVista consists of a wide range of modules. In general, a licence is required per module for each branch that wishes to use that module. In the overview below, all modules are listed, with a short explanation per module of its purpose. In addition, the benefits and one or more reasons for using each module are described.

Relations
This module contains all relations a store is in contact with. These are often consumers, but can also be suppliers.
By correctly setting up and using this module, you gain a great deal of valuable information about your customers and can ensure that processes run smoothly. An important feature of this module is RFM, whereby RetailVista automatically segments your customers.
Products
This module contains all products that a store can sell.
The number of products is virtually unlimited, and for each product an unlimited number of barcodes and purchasing details can be defined. RetailVista can easily handle millions of products.
Product Lists
This module is used to create many different collections of products.

The use of product lists is very simple and accessible. As a result, this module is used by almost every RetailVista user. Product lists can be sent to and received from almost every other module within RetailVista.
Purchase Orders
This module is used to record the purchasing requirements of a branch in the form of orders per supplier.
Unlimited numbers of orders can be created, and via the stock automation RetailVista can also automatically suggest purchase orders. Based on open purchase order lines, both short-term and long-term forecast stock levels are calculated.
Goods Receipts
This module is used to record the receipt of goods from suppliers. For each receipt batch, a new receipt registration is created. A product receipt forms the basis for the purchase invoice checking process.
Unlimited numbers of receipts can be created, and there are many ways to register receipts, such as manually, via EDI, Excel, or product list imports. Once a receipt has been created, a packing slip check can be performed using RetailVista Mobile.
Purchase Invoice Control
This module is used to combine digital invoices with receipts and purchase orders. This provides insight into what was ordered at which purchase price, what was actually delivered, and whether the invoice matches this.
Because there is no limitation on the number of purchase orders and receipts, the purchase invoice control module is able to genuinely support the checking of such invoices.
Labelling
This module is used to label products with stickers. A sticker will almost always contain a barcode, supplemented with other information such as sales price and descriptions.
The number of label layouts is unlimited, and every type of label printer with a command language can be controlled from RetailVista. Through our Bridge technology, the RetailVista website is connected to printers, allowing printing from anywhere in the world.
Exchange This module is used to import products into an intermediate file and compare them with the products in the operational administration. Once all differences have been accepted, product changes can be applied to the operational administration.

Exchange is very strong in importing almost any Excel sheet containing product data. Import templates can be created for each sheet, and a wide range of import configurations is available. Imported data can also be reduced to clear mutation data sets using various user-defined filters.
Calculations
This module is used to automatically calculate a product’s gross sales price based on a known purchase price and a desired gross profit margin.
Calculated sales prices can be psychologically rounded.

Stock
This module is used to keep track of the different stock levels of a product.
RetailVista supports various stock levels such as base stock, free stock, forecast stock, and several others. The stock automation calculates the ideal minimum and maximum stock levels, enabling almost fully automated ordering of products.
Quotations
This module is used to quickly create quotations.
A quotation can be converted into a sales order when a customer wants the products to be delivered.
Sales Orders
This module is used to record the purchasing needs of consumers in the form of customer orders. Whether it concerns a webshop order, an in-store order, a telephone order, or any other type, all orders are recorded as sales orders.
A unique feature of this module is the use of sales order scenarios. Scenarios can be defined by the user, and each scenario largely determines the behaviour and processing of sales orders linked to it. By using scenarios, virtually any type of customer order can be processed effortlessly.
Reservations
This module is used to record the delivery of sales orders. A sales order can be automatically or manually split into one or more reservations. From a reservation, an order fulfilment process follows, ultimately resulting in revenue and a reduction in stock. Reservations also form the basis for possible product returns by consumers.
RetailVista offers an extensive range of software to process sales orders efficiently. A notable component is automated order picking, where warehouse and/or store employees automatically receive instructions to collect specific order lines.

Deliveries

This module is used to plan reservations that are fully prepared for delivery into delivery routes.
There are integrations with third-party software systems such as Bumbal to plan deliveries in consultation with the consumer. RetailVista uses the Mobile Dispatch app to hand over shipments, including checks and support for cash-on-delivery payments.

Returned Products
This module is used to record return requests and return shipments from consumers.

Fast and accurate registration forms the basis for a correct return process, which may involve offering a replacement product and ensures that refunds are handled properly.
Point of Sale

This module is a collection of key functionalities related to the checkout process.
Noteworthy is the insight into all received transactions from RetailVista POS software in the field and their processing. RetailVista POS itself carries the “Keurmerk Betrouwbaar Afrekensysteem” (BAS), recognised by the Dutch tax authorities.

Cash Management

This module is an important tool for quickly and accurately reconciling cash sales.
Corrections in older cash reconciliations are automatically carried through to all subsequent reconciliations. This ensures that the cash register always balances and that discrepancies from day to day are impossible.
Loyalty
This module is used to support a retailer’s loyalty programme.

The range of saving options is very extensive, and through integration with Nuvio, consumers are also given full insight into data that is important to them.

Gift Cards
This module is used to support a retailer’s gift cards.

RetailVista not only supports its own gift cards but also integrates with many third-party systems. In addition to physical cards, digital gift cards in wallets are fully supported.

EDI
This module is used to provide insight into all incoming and outgoing messages between RetailVista and the global EDI network.
Support is provided not only for the global EDI X400 network, but also for sending and receiving messages via the regular Internet. Messages between branches are also routed through the EDI module, ensuring a single, consistent overview of all message traffic.
Webshop

This module is used to integrate with one or more webshops.

RetailVista can synchronise products with an unlimited number of webshops and can also receive and process order messages from multiple webshops. In addition to excellent support for free stock levels, bundled products with fictitious stock levels are also perfectly shared with any type of webshop.
Warehouse

This module is used to manage stock positions of one or more warehouses within RetailVista.
Stock can be transferred between store and warehouse, and also between warehouses. The number of warehouse locations and positions is unlimited, and our digital order picking can create an optimised warehouse route for collecting orders.
Statistics

This module is used to generate basic sales statistics for products, which can be combined with stock data.

The strength of RetailVista statistics lies in the extensive filtering options and the ability to switch to another statistic while retaining all filters. This makes it possible to drill down from a high-level overview to individual sales line details of a transaction.
