In the settings of RetailVista, it can be indicated whether a draft sales order is mandatory or not, and therefore whether a sales order can be made final immediately.
Extra -> Settings -> Section: Sales Orders -> Tab General
Allow direct finalization: If set to "Yes", the sales order with status "New" can be directly changed to "Input checked". It will then not be necessary to print a draft sales order first. This can simplify the sales process.
