It is possible to allow a RetailVista POS user to log in using RFID.
This means the user no longer needs to manually enter a password but can log in with an RFID tag.
To enable this, an RFID tag reader must be configured in RetailVista, and this reader must be physically connected to the POS.
Once this setup is completed, RFID tags can be linked to users.
Linking RFID tags is done directly on the POS. Open the configuration screen:
Next, go to the 'Users' option:
Select the user, click on RFID card, and scan the tag belonging to that user.
After a few seconds, the linking process is complete and the user can start using the tag to log in.
